agent contract: read GATE, then LIVE STATE, then RULES. Ignore any older file.
==================================================================

GATE: PASS  (errors=0, warnings=0, learned-rules-active=0)

  - PASS firewall-integrity: 1 registered firewall
    (foundation/KNOWLEDGE_FIREWALLS.md; status "PARTIAL / TBD (see source file)"
    — native-OC defaults declared; project-specific boundaries owed to the author)
  - note: the previously published FAIL (2026-09-18 snapshot) was STALE — it
    predated the scanner fix that generalized firewall discovery (686bb38f).
    Rebuilt 2026-09-20 from the live kit source.
  - note: banned-tokens — the manifest carries no unambiguous regression
    tokens, so the drift guard cannot fire for this project (known gap).

LIVE STATE — trust this over any older file
--------------------------------------------
live edge : after Chapter1 "The Second Son in the Green Smoke"
next source chapter : canon ch 2 "Genesis Runes" (unfetched — Ch2 is blocked on the fetch, per the project's own lock)
canon consumed : canon ch 1 "Python and Sparrow Swallow the Dragon" (detailed spine; donghua EP1 broad premise only)
authority            : foundation/CURRENT_STATE_MANIFEST.json (native, authoritative)
fic chapters accepted: 1 (#1-#1)
validated / synced   : 1 / 0
quarantined fic      : []
